Frank Graves Post #64
Niles, Berrien County, Michigan

Organized October 17, 1913

This Post was named to honor Frank Graves of Niles who was killed in action at the Wilderness, Virginia on August 7, 1863.

The Post was Mustered with 23 Charter Members.

The first Commander was William Hillis Smith who served in Company E, 7th Indiana Cavalry.

The Post met at G.A.R. Hall on Main Street. In 1921 they met at the residence of the Commander, 305 south 3rd Street.

The last Post Commander was William Hillis Smith, noted above.

The last Report filed December 31, 1921 shows 12 Members.

The Post was dropped from the Journal on June 30, 1926.
